Targeted drugs upgrade personalized cancer therapy
A trial led by University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center doctors suggests so-called targeted drugs, both experimental ones and existing ones in new combinations, are more effective than the one-size-fits-all drugs routinely given for tumors found in common parts of the body.
